Hi! my names gemma and im new to this oekaki <3 yesterday i was looking for a decent board to join, and this one looks quite good :3 theres far too many boards with anime scribbles (like REAL scribbles) left and right ya know? gets a bit boring. anyway, this is my friends character, Lila, if you cant tell shes based off a ladybug XD i have a silly girly crush on her adorable midget-self :c *hug squish* hope you enjoy <3 yes the BG sucks ;; but i drew her on the bottom layer so i had to work around her

She's really cute >:3 I just love that pudge, haha <3 If you ever accidentally draw on the bottom layer in PaintBBS again, you can do two things: one, use remask, or two, use lay-unif on layer 1 and erase the white manually. But the background is really cute anyway so it's not a big deal XD

This is so adorable. I love everything about this. Her eyelashes are especially cute, so are the spots on the sides of her tummy.

Decided to try something a little different this time around, drew up one of the lovely ladies that have populated the original Nickelodeon version of Ren & Stimpy, this one being in the Gritty Kitty contest episode called 'The Big Shot', hope you all like it!

I LOVE the background. I think a drop shadow on the ground would make this a lot more unified.

A bit too scribbly, methinks?n I think if you cleaned this up a little and added some more detail it'd be so much nicer; the girl and the folds in her dress is done very well.

I love the sketch on the horizon and the dress but I hate it for the shadow. Otherwise this is fine

Great perspective/foreshortening. Her shoes and angle of her face are especially difficult looking but came out perfect :) anyone who can pole dance moderately well gets my respect, it looks difficult as fck.

Well this is my first oekaki. I am a long time lurker here, and I just got a draw pad. It's still all very new to me, I need much practice. It's hard to tell what size I'll need and how to use the colors is confusing.

Tablets take some getting used to, but believe me when you get the hang of it you'll hate going back to a mouse. Nice pixie, the legs seem a little off, but good piece.

You should definitely get a little more adventurous with darker shades and dynamic lighting. You've got something here worth embellishing.

Thanks everyone. ^_^ - I debated with wings or no wings, for some reason I didn't really want her to have wings. My fairies usually have wings I wanted to go another way. And the legs are terrible! >_< I think most of my time was spent trying to get them right. I wish I could do more with it, especially in the background, I'm horrible at backgrounds, and aside from mspaint this is the only drawing program I've ever used. Hopefully I learn and pick up some neat tricks, it all still very new to me.

I really like this a lot! There are a couple anatomy problems, but who doesn't have those? I love how delicate she looks; those hands are so sweet. And I personally really like the hair! Tablets really don't take that long to get used to. After a couple pictures you'll get the hang of it. =) Oekaki palettes, however, are a different story. Ahaha.

The rendering on the man's hair is fantastic(I wonder why you chose such realistic rendering for the nipples and his hair, and flat colors for everything else...), but for a minute I thought the woman had some hellacious chest hair. x.x;

O lawd. The texture changes kind of throw me off, but I can't see the anatomy's not decent! Especially on the guy.Nice clean line-art, too.And where there is texture, it's really, really, good texturing.

Me too! I love the palette on this; it really makes the picture, if you ask me. However, I'm having a little trouble accepting the wing.
